About Us

121 was founded in 2003 by Bill Barry and John Blakey. We are a leadership development and coaching consultancy that works with senior directors and their teams in business and the public sector.

With the goal of improving organisational performance, 121partners specialises in business performance and development programmes for leaders and their teams. Clients are FTSE250 companies and dynamic public sector organisations.

The consultancy’s coaches work with board-level teams to define shared goals and development plans that align with organisational strategy and business priorities.

Over a period of 8-10 months, the 121partners coaches help the team identify and exploit their strengths, overcome weaknesses and achieve results through a mixture of individual coaching, team workshops and psychometric profiling.

All the121partners team combine senior-level business experience with formal coaching qualifications, with one of the team working with the Olympic rowing squad in preparation for the London 2012 Games.

In 2007, 121partners was a finalist in the Business Start Up awards recognising its track record of profitable growth, innovation and contribution to the coaching profession.
